welcome to the dark side my friend. Portland does kick much bootay...and congrats on the gig!! if you're ever in Seattle, look me up, we'll grab some coffee or something.
Have a good trip,Ward! For you and your family. And you know what? I think I'm gonna keep watch of your progress from now onwards on the move, cos it does render some comfort knowing that others out there are going through the same process of shifting and starting out afresh in a new environment. The feeling of loneliness doesn't get to me as much. Thanks for sharing all this,Ward.
Welcome to Portland. I've been lurking around your blog for a long time and I'm super excited that you are moving here. The creative scene here needs more people like you.
Hey Ward, I know a lady who is putting together a book and is looking for an illustrator. I was wondering if you could let me know if you have some contacts I could pass on to her. The picture she showed me that she is interested in is a muted sepia type water-color style... but she is only 1/2 way done with the book right now and is open to suggestions.
Turn around! I think you left the iron on! Ha! Seriously, stop and pee a lot. Keep us updated,

Good luck, Ward!
