I posted this last Christmas, but it's worth it to post again: The First Noel, a small Golden Book illustrated by the brilliant husband-wife team of Alice and Martin Provensen, 1959.

Hi! I came across your blog today and really like it! I loved the "Golden book" pictures in flickr. Very nice!
I also saw that you mentioned what it seems to be a very interesting book "Three trees make a forest" if I am not wrong...I am tempted to buy it actually :)
We'll see, to buy things on-line from here is kind of annoying as they take their time to come :)
